What to Expect

Start your day with convenient pickup from your Waikiki hotel, where you'll meet your friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Our first stop is the iconic Diamond Head State Monument, a place of great historical significance to Native Hawaiians. Known as Lēʻahi in Hawaiian, this site was believed to be the home of the fire goddess Pele's sister, Hiʻiaka, and was used as a lookout by ancient Hawaiian chiefs. Enjoy panoramic views of Oahu's southern shore and Waikiki from this historic lookout.

As we drive through the luxurious neighborhood of Kahala, known as the "Beverly Hills of Hawaii" and admire the stunning estates and manicured laws of the rich and famous. Next, we visit the Halona Blowhole, a unique natural ocean spray geyser where the rough surf hits the rocky shoreline and water shoots up through an open ceiling lava tube, creating a spectacular display.

Passing by Sandy Beach Park you'll be greeted of the dry South East coastal Oahu, and the impressive cliffs of Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, where you'll be treated to more of Oahu's natural beauty with awe-inspiring views from the Hanauma Bay Lookout.

After rounding the South East corner of the island and cresting the hill known as Makapu'u (which means bulging eye in Hawaiian) we will stop at the Makapu'u Lookout. Here you will witness one of the most fantastic views in the entire Hawaiian Island Chain reaching all the way to Kaneohe. Here you will see how the Ko'Olau Mountain Range starts nearby as dry rocky foothill and eventually climbs to it's famous towering lush green vertical cliffs. Rabbit Island, an offshore bird santuary, is below your vantage point allowing you to gaze down on it's unique form.

We then drive to Waimanalo, home to Oahu's largest population of Native Hawaiians. This enclave offers unique souvenirs and locally crafted treasures at the charming gift shops in town. These quaint stores offer a delightful array of Hawaiian arts, crafts, and keepsakes, perfect for commemorating your Oahu adventure.

Our next stop is the tranquil Byodo-In Temple, a peaceful oasis with serene koi ponds and elegant black swans. Take a moment to meditate and soak in the calm energy before we head to the North Shore for lunch.

At Fumi’s Shrimp Truck, savor the delicious flavors of the North Shore’s famous shrimp or choose from other tasty options, including a vegetarian noodle plate. After lunch, we drive along the North Shore, you'll pass by world-famous beaches such as Sunset Beach, Pipeline, and Waimea Bay, renowned for their breathtaking beauty and legendary surf. Next, get ready for some fun in the water at a North Shore beach. Whether you choose to snorkel with our complimentary gear or relax in the shade with a good book, this beach stop is sure to be a highlight.

Continuing our journey, we'll visit the Macadamia Nut Farm for some free samples of fresh nuts and coffee, followed by a stroll through Historic Haleiwa Town, where you can enjoy shopping and the famous Matsumoto’s Shave Ice.
