There’s nothing quite like balancing on top of the crystal clear ocean when paddle boarding in Hawaii. Easily paddle across the waters of Pokai Bay, West Oahu and immerse yourself in the midst of nature. Take in the sights, sounds, and beauty of the surrounding environment while getting a full body workout! Our West Oahu SUP lessons are great introductions to this fun Hawaiian activity!

What to expect

Learn how to master the stand up paddle board in ideal conditions—where the waves are warm and inviting and there’s never a crowd! Pokai Bay on the west side of Oahu is a hidden gem! Let us teach you how to paddle in these calm waters, and you’ll likely see sea turtles, dolphins and stunning views of Oahu’s west coast. Round trip transportation available from Ko'Olina hotels.

One Hour Group Lesson

Our most popular option for beginners to intermediate stand up paddlers, the group lesson delivers high-quality sup instruction at an incredible value. Our instructors can provide personalized attention because we keep our classes small – never more than four students for each instructor. We start with a 30-minute land demonstration and the rest of the time surfing in the ocean.

Participants must be at least 11 years old.

One Hour Private Lesson

Let your keiki, or child aged three to 11, experience Hawaiian SUP with a one-on-one lesson with a private instructor. Our friendly SUP instructors ensure your child is safe at all times while having fun out on the water. This private lesson starts with a land demonstration and then there’s plenty of time for paddling out in the ocean.

Exclusive Adult Lesson

This is a great option for our lovely couples or groups of two. Our 2:1 student to instructor ratio makes this a great option for siblings, honeymooners, couples, or best friends wanting to share the experience in a setting more private than our traditional group lesson.

Transportation Available

Round Trip Transportation is available for an extra fee of $20. We offer this transportation service exclusively to and from the Hotels, Resorts, and Vacation Rentals, located within the Ko'Olina Resort Area. Please choose from the list below during the booking process and we will pick you up in front of the hotel chosen.
