Experience a true natural phenomenon by night swimming with bioluminescent microscopic organisms that glow a beautiful neon blue. We provide mask and snorkel so that you can see the blue flash and dance before your eyes. This rare experience is one of only five bioluminescent bays in the world.

What to Expect

Travel to the Caribbean side of the island to a village called the La Parguera, where you will experience one the most unique natural phenomenon’s in the world. The Bioluminescence Microscopic organisms that glow in the dark. You will immediately see that when you stir up the water, the water shines a beautiful neon blue.

Once we reach La Parguera, we will enjoy a home made dinner at a local restuarant while the crew prepares the boat and equipment. Once the sun goes down we will travel to the bio bay to experience one of the most unique things in your life.

Because this is the only Bio Bay in Puerto Rico where you can swim, we will supply you with a snorkel and mask. While you splash the water to make them glow you will see the blue lights dance right in front of your eyes.

Transportation Information

• Hotel pickup ranges between approximately 2:00pm and 5:00pm depending on the hotel and when the sun goes down (darkens).
• Please note that the 4pm departure does not visit the sandbar for sunset before continuing to Bio Bay.
• You will return to your hotel between 11:00pm-1:00am depending on when we make it out for the tour.
