What to Expect

The cruise begins at the harbor where guests are welcomed aboard the Prince Kuhio, a spacious and comfortable vessel designed for relaxed island evenings. As the boat departs the dock, trade winds drift across the open decks and panoramic views of Honolulu’s coastline begin to unfold with Diamond Head standing in the distance, the golden hues of Waikiki, and the soft greens of the Koʻolau mountains.

Dinner is served shortly after departure. Guests are seated and served a fresh, chef-prepared meal directly from the vessel’s onboard galley. Each plate features local flavors and quality ingredients like tender beef short ribs with mashed rosemary potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a light dessert to finish. Vegetarian and fish options are available upon request.

As the sun begins to lower on the horizon, the sky transforms into a brilliant canvas of pinks, oranges, and purples, reflecting off the ocean as the city skyline begins to shimmer. The gentle rhythm of Hawaiian music fills the background, adding a relaxing ambiance to the visual spectacle around you.

Guests are encouraged to stroll the decks, take photos, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Although the Tiki bar is temporarily not serving alcohol, guests are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy throughout the evening. Friday and Saturday cruises offer an extended hour, allowing even more time to unwind and take in the lights of Honolulu from the water.
