What to Expect

Check in on Kaanapali Beach, just in front of Whalers Village where our team, easily recognizable by the blue umbrella, will welcome you and prepare you for the experience. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll board one of our USCG-certified boats, where you'll join up to 7 other guests for a shared but intimate ride. With clear skies above and the sparkling Pacific beneath, the excitement builds as the boat speeds out to sea.

Once positioned, it's time to take flight. Depending on your chosen package, you'll ascend to either 800 feet or 1200 feet above the water. The sensation of gently lifting off the boat is a real thrill and peaceful at the same time. As you rise, the breathtaking panorama of Maui stretches out before you—including the emerald West Maui Mountain Range with it's towering Pu'u Kukiu, neighboring islands of Lanai and Mokokai, West Maui's famous golden beaches, and the vast Pacific ocean below. The higher you go, the more expansive the views become, offering a unique perspective on this island paradise.

For those opting for the "Out of This World" 1200’ experience, the extra altitude offers an even more spectacular vantage point, truly living up to its name as the ultimate parasail experience. Throughout the flight, you'll feel the exhilaration of the wind in your face, the freedom of soaring, and the quiet tranquility of being far above the noise of the world below.

After 6 to 9 minutes of flight time, depending on your package, you’ll be gently reeled back in, with the option to cool off with a gentle dip—a quick, refreshing descent into the ocean before being pulled back up for the final glide. The boat ride itself, lasting between 40 to 60 minutes, is a delight, providing opportunities to watch the other flyers take off during their turns and spot sea life along the coastline, adding another dimension to your adventure.

Requirements

• Participants must be at least 5 years old.
• Solo parasailers must weigh at least 160 pounds (73 kg).
• Tandem and triple flights are available with a combined maximum weight limit of 450 to 550 pounds (204 to 250 kg).
• Please book 2 seats for tandem flights and 3 seats for triple flights.
