Lanai Cathedral Cave Scuba Dive
A short boat ride from our shop Maui’s neighboring island, Lanai, has unique underwater scenery molded by Hawaii’s volcanic history. Swim through lava shoots, arches, small caves – and of course Lanai’s crown jewel, the Cathedrals!
What to Expect
We leave the Mala boat ramp, just outside of Lahaina town, at 7:00am. As we zip across the channel to Maui's neighbor island of Lanai during a 45 minute boat ride our captain and crew will educate and inform you of the underwater topography and marine life that can be expected during your two tank dive.
Your dive master will select the day’s sites based on conditions, but you can expect to dive a Cathedral and one of Lanai’s other stunning reefs. This dive features caverns, lava shoots, swim throughs, and arches, and more!
The two dive sites we call Cathedrals are vast caverns where rocks have fallen from the ceiling allowing sun rays to shine through the crystal clear water creating a church-like experience. Making our 2 Tank Lanai Cathedrals Dive is a “bucket list” trip for any scuba diver.
The wildlife encounters don’t stop underwater, dolphins and whales are frequent visitors, and we always stop the boat to say aloha!

Our group sizes are small. You’ll receive personalized attention from your instructor who will guide you on two exceptional dives and answer your questions about marine life.
Plus, our team knows divers like to dive; we are the only company that allows you to stay underwater for a full hour on both dives so you can optimize your bottom time.

Cancellation Policy
48 Hour Cancellation Policy strictly enforced! Due to our group size limitations on some activities, we cannot absorb the cost of people canceling at the last minute, when we are turning away people from tours or classes that day. Coast Guard, County, and Dive Agency regulations dictate the number of clients aboard or on the beach each day. When you give us your credit card information to hold a reservation, you are agreeing to the following cancellation terms and conditions:
If the cancellation notification is received less than 48 hours from the start of the tour or class there will be a 100% cancellation fee charged to your credit card.
Cancellations can be made over the phone at (808)661-7333 and must be confirmed by a member of our staff before they are accepted.
If you do not arrive on time for your trip and the groups has departed, you will be charged in full. Please arrive on time. Our trips depart on time and we do not want to leave without you.
If you are required to have a doctor's excuse for a "YES" answer on the medical waiver for any Intro to Scuba Dive or Certification class and you fail to bring that with you or provide it BEFORE the start of the class you WILL NOT be permitted to dive and you WILL NOT receive a refund for the booking.
Dive Maui cancellation policy supersedes all previous credit card agreements you have with your credit card company.
