What to Expect

We will meet at our first location where our guides will give you an informative introduction to what the food tour stops will be for the day. From there, follow our culinary guide in the comfort of your own car and sample the sights, flavors and history of Kauai.

Pick your food tour depending on what side of the island you would like to explore. The stops on our South Shore, East Side, and North Shore food tours are a celebration of food inspired by Hawaii’s diverse cultures. 

During the tour we will enjoy a variety of Kauai flavors at 6 different tasting locations. Our tours are designed around dishes that use local ingredients and the Kauai chef's and food artisans who expertise in using these ingredients. 

Our tasting locations include the rare opportunity to meet and speak with the owner/chefs that prepared for the food you. During this time they will give a personal presentation where you will learn their story and from start to finish how the specific foods were grown, harvested, prepared, and served in order to reach such beautiful flavors unique to Kauai.

Since our tours are seasonal and based on fresh ingredients, availability, and what we like right now, each experience is unique in terms of what you get to taste and who you meet. While we can not guarantee which food stops we will make, you can count on a full day of eating well and exploring what’s fresh and seasonal on the Garden Isle!

Hanapepe Food Tour

Taste your way through the unique charm of Hanapepe, Kauai’s "Biggest Little Town," on a walking tour that blends plantation history, culture, and modern cuisine. Known for its art galleries and small-town charm, Hanapepe offers a one-of-a-kind experience. 

With exclusive access, intimate groups, and tastings at five carefully selected West Side stops, you’ll sample traditional Hawaiian dishes, explore hidden gems, and meet the chefs and business owners shaping Hanapepe’s culinary scene. North Shore Food Tour - Kilauea or Hanalei

Meet us up on the quaint North Shore area where we will visit the lush agricultural side of Kauai. During the tour we will visit a local farm and learn about local Hawaii agriculture.

When visiting various North Shore eateries, we may sample popular locally produced foods in a historic small town setting.

East Kauai Food Tour - Royal Coconut Coast

Discover local hidden gems in the heart of Kapa’a, the cutest little town on East Kauai that has a tempo of its own. Lining the sidewalks are locally owned eateries and shops and there is no better way to spend a day in fun Kapa'a than eating your way through it, and learning about the food culture on East Kauai.

You can count on a full day of eating some of the best local comfort foods on the island. Learn about the foods locals eat on a day-to-day basis.

You may try local Japanese inspired dishes, fresh fruit juice, farmer's market baked goods, local grass fed beef burgers, homemade gelato and ice creams, and more.

Downtown Lihue Food Tour

Explore the heart of Kauai on our Downtown Līhu‘e Walking Food Tour, showcasing the island’s liveliest and largest town, where rich plantation history meets vibrant modern culture.
