Come and experience the thrill of wave riding during our group, semi-private, or private surf lessons!

During your surf lesson you will learn from our friendly team of born and raised local surfers. With your instructors knowledge of wave riding you will receive a well coml lesson that will have you on your feet and gliding across the waves. We take the utmost care to make sure every student is comfortable and having fun throughout the entire lesson.

A vacation on the Big Island is not complete without experiencing surfing in the crystal clear waters of Kona, Hawaii. Our goal is to make your island dreams come true, providing a memorable experience for all our clients.

What to Expect

Each lesson starts with a 15 minute lesson on land discussing your experience or instructing on the basics of surfing and ocean safety. We then provide the boards, water shoes, a rash guard, refreshments and snacks for all lessons. During this portion of the lesson our team will explain the historical and cultural significance of Hawaii's deep love of the ocean, the heritage of surfing in Hawaii, and the passion for keeping the Hawaiian sport of he’e nalu (Hawaiian for surfing) alive.

Our group lessons offer that perfect mix of individual attention in a team environment. Group lessons feature a ratio of four students per instructor.

Our semi-private lessons has a minimum of 2 people and includes two to three students per instructor. This option is great for couples, friends/family, or children, with a focus on fun. These offerings allow more one-on-one time with your instructor.

• Minimum Age for Group and Semi-Private – 10 Years and know how to swim

We suggest a private for those who want a more advanced lesson for complete individualized attention. We also recommend a private lesson for surfers who want to work on their skills or for those who are hesitant beginners. This is an exclusive one-on-one lesson with your instructor.

• Children under the age of 10, (and usually not younger than 5) are REQUIRED to be in a private lesson rather than a group or semi due to safety issues.
