Looking for a fun and memorable experience in Hilo? Come enjoy a one tank shore dive along the lush and iconic East Hawai‘i coast! Our tour departs from the Hilo Ocean Adventures shop and ventures a few miles along the beautiful shore to our breathtaking dive site. Hilo is especially unique as the cool fresh water springs that enter the sea along our coast regulates ocean temperatures and prevents coral bleaching.

What to Expect

Dive untouched reef walls and spectacular rock formations, and immerse yourself in East Hawaii's thriving and diverse sea life. Our coastline is renowned for the abundant sea turtle population, and our brackish water is home to a wealth of diversity including octopus, eagle and manta rays, eels, corals, and tropical reef fish! Your dive master will guide you on an incredible journey through the abundance of sea life below, and will ensure you have a fun and memorable experience.

Gear Rental Available

Leave your gear at home and dive in our top of the line equipment including 2018 Atomic Z3 regulators and Oceanic BCD's for an additional fee. During check out, you can select if you would like to rent all the gear necessary to have a fun and safe dive. Come explore the unseen side of Hawai‘i Island using brand new equipment!

One tank not enough? Not a problem! Two-tank dives are available. Click through the calendar to find a date that is offering two tank dives.

Disclaimer

*You must be Open Water dive certified to join this group. Please join our introductory dive if you have no prior experience scuba diving.

Please note that you MUST wait at least 12 hours before ascending above 2,500 ft after your dive. A two-tank dive increases your wait time to 18 hours. This tour requires you to have the ability to swim and that you are able to use a snorkel or regulator. Minors 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
